Whether this addicting minimal electronic ambient album plays loudly through my headphones at 1:00 AM, or it sedulously signals to me from my stereo speakers while I lay on the couch with the cat, it's been a great companion lately - it's somehow like an aural underwater snowstorm...I highly recommend Triple Point as well!
This is a deeply thought-provoking collection from an almost dystopian future. Things seem sterile and out of your control in this future. Society is manufactured and brainwashed. I see myself commuting on a train in an almost empty city, controlled by robotics and corporations. I love these images and would not have them if it weren't for this.
Favorite track: Sickbay.
Each track tells is its own story with evocative sounds composed of interesting synths, samples, and field recordings, richly layered and punched up by impeccable drum programming. Bryan Müller is a master of many styles as showcased across the Skee Mask discography, and this LP really stands out among them all. donshuggin
